Playing the piano is a skill that is both desirable and attainable for everyone! Yes everyone can and should learn to play, at least a little. Of course it’s much better to start as a young child, but adults are often very successful in realizing their life long dreams of being able to play the piano. Christine will start students in piano lessons as young as 4 or 5 and as old as 100 on the road to be an accomplished pianist or to being able to play their favorite song on the piano or keyboard.

 

Christine’s passion for music, the piano in particular, is not only evident in her playing and her teaching, it is also contagious, giving her the ability to reach into the part of her students and audiences that deeply desires to express itself in this way. She has had so many diverse opportunities to play, learn and teach that she is well qualified to teach traditionally or with more modern learning approaches (like the Suzuki method). She is able to teach both classical and modern styles of playing including chordal playing.
